The project “Amarelo/Azul”, the colors of the flag of Ukraine, was launched three months ago and selected 15 projects with potential to be launched. The objective is to grow and have two to three programs per year, with the capacity to help 120 women per year to launch their businesses, while contributing to the local economy.
The program that culminated today’s first edition with the presentation of projects, had 100 applications, but it was only possible to include 40, according to the organization.
The project is aimed at Ukrainian women, who make up the vast majority of refugees, along with children, since men were mobilized for war.
Upon learning about the mentoring project “Amarelo Azul – Business Camp”, by the Ukrainian Hub association, supported by the European Commission and Millennium bcp Foundation, Oksana, 40 years old, decided to submit the plan she was committed to.

Mentoring sessions from the Ukrainian Hub took place this Saturday at the European Commission Office in Portugal as part of the Amarelo/Azul Project supported by SIC Esperança.
