At the practical classes, the selected participants will learn relevant business skills with the involvement of international expertise. Participation is free. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guaana.com\/challenge\/qXhqAdpBdTddHbRNv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Acceptance of applications<\/u><\/a> will last until September 17, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The training will consist of two parts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Business camp (from October 12 to 15) for 50 Ukrainian women<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bootcamp (October 16-17) under the program of the American foundation CRDF Global in Kyiv *<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The winners of the final pitch competition will receive a one-week business tour to the USA, which will include a training intensive in Silicon Valley **<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Business camp in Kyiv<\/strong><br>During the first four days, the participants will attend lectures and master classes from leading Ukrainian and international experts in the field of management, marketing, finance, sales, communications and investment attraction.<br>The training will conclude with a two-day bootcamp, where the Civilian Research and Development Fund (CRDF Global) will conduct training on the conduct of women in business. Experts of the American organization will teach the ability to present oneself, negotiate with investors, strategies for business development and entering the foreign market.<br>At the end, there will be a final pitch competition, where a special committee will select up to 10 winners. They will receive travel grants from CRDF Global and Concord Bank and continue their studies in the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Business tour to the USA<\/strong><br>Ukrainian women will spend a week in the heart of Silicon Valley \u2014 a unique educational and residential complex in Menlo Park. During the intensive, the participants will gain knowledge on business promotion, get acquainted with the latest innovative tools, study real business cases and successful strategies, as well as learn leadership skills.<br>Requirements for applicants<br>The participants will be selected based on the results of the competitive selection. Here are the main criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>be the owner and\/or founder (co-founder) of a technology business (top manager)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be active (at least one year)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have an original business idea<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have motivation for personal and professional development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&quot;According to DOU data, the share of women in Ukrainian IT is growing and currently amounts to 25%. For comparison <\/em>\u2014 <em>5 years ago, this figure was slightly more than 14%, <\/em>\u2014 says Olesya Malyovana, Head of the Board of Ukrainian Hub. \u2014 <em>And more and more often we see girls among the founders of startups or in higher management positions. So, in June of this year, 20 Ukrainian women took part in the WISE24 international initiative for women. 6 of them presented their projects in the final to thousands of investors from all over the world. We are moving in the right direction and still need support.
