PRESS
More than 100 participants from Ukraine completed a three-month training course aimed at mastering the tools for starting a business.
The first Amarelo/Azul business camp has 40 participants and aims to provide Ukrainian women with "necessary tools to create new businesses and a source of income."
Mentoring sessions from the Ukrainian Hub took place this Saturday at the European Commission Office in Portugal as part of the Amarelo/Azul project supported by SIC Esperança.
A new program has been created to help Ukrainian immigrants in creating a business in Portugal. Olesya Malyovana, one of the founders of Ukrainian hub, presented the business camp project – AmareloAzul, on November 2 at the Web Summit 2022 in Lisbon.
Like millions of people, the russian invasion prompted Olesia Malovana to leave Ukraine. She moved to Lisbon, where she continued to work with startups and created a subsidiary organization of the Ukrainian Hub to support refugees who want to develop their businesses.
