Netflix, fashion and development — all this about a member of Amarelo Azul, who is now successfully developing her own business.

Svetlana Berezhna, Amarelo Azul Program

"Greetings, I am Svitlana Berezhna, stylist. I style shootings for brands, advertising projects. She created costumes for films, and even took part in filming for Netflix here in Portugal. I work personally with clients and love what I do."

The story of Svitlana's development is an example of resilience, adaptability and passion.

In Portugal, they were welcomed by a generous couple of expats - a French woman and an American. They sent the children to an English school and provided a guest house for the family to stay in for ten months. “We are still in touch with them; they are incredible people,” - recalls Svitlana with warmth.

Svetlana quickly managed to find a job with a Portuguese team of stylists, participating in various advertising projects. The most significant experience was working on a Netflix film Heart of Stone, which will be released in August. "It was a very valuable experience, a unique opportunity to work on a film of this scale," - she notes.

Svitlana is currently working on various projects, including photo shoots, advertising and personal shopping. She collaborates with photographers and officially conducts business in Portugal, paying taxes. Svitlana also launched her own brand of linen kimono dresses and is planning its official development in the new country.

About the program Amarelo Azul Svitlana learned from her friend Viola Melnychuk, who completed the previous stream and is successfully developing her own travel company. Inspired, Svitlana conceived her own project - photo and video production for mid-market brands and experts in social networks, with a focus on fashion campaigns and lookbooks. "I already had a professional team, but felt a big gap in knowledge about how to build a business here in Portugal," - she admits.

The Amarelo Azul program gave her the knowledge she needed to build a strategy and implement it. She developed her first business plan and presented her project at the final pitch, which was a great challenge. "The support from the mentors was incredible. They were with us 24/7, they believed in every project of the participants." - says Svitlana.

Svetlana's production has already started work. They are working on a website and marketing plan, with successful collaborations including a campaign and lookbook for Portuguese jewelry brand Emmoria. “I want to express a big thank you to Amarelo Azul. This is a unique opportunity for Ukrainian women to turn their idea into a real, working business." - she emphasizes.
