Finally! At the beginning of May, we presented the project Ukrainian hub (Ukrainian Hub), created on the initiative of the Ukrainian American Coordinating Council (UACC). Entrepreneurs will be trained, advised and assisted in establishing contacts with international startup ecosystems. The organization will support young businesses on the way to development, scale and bring companies to new markets.
Ukrainian Hub will contribute to the establishment of relations with leading global organizations, such as:

The founders are Nikita Safronenko, Olesya Malyovana and Olga Goldina.

"Our strength lies in a wide range of connections. This allows us to connect Ukrainian startups with representatives of innovative ecosystems and the investment environment virtually anywhere in the world." — says Mykyta Safronenko, co-founder of the Ukrainian Hub project.

The first projects are for women

Ukrainian Hub's first big step was the start of a partnership with the American women's accelerator Women's Startup Lab. In February 2020, Nikita and Olesya visited the headquarters of the accelerator and discussed the terms of partnership with its founder Ari Hori (Participant in the Forbes rating "55 women who changed the world", "Forty over 40", Women Influence Silicon Valley 2015, CNN 10 Visionary Women).
Already in April, the first joint initiative was launched - the WiSE24 2020 program. It is a global project for women startup founders and leaders who promote innovation and social growth, to improve cooperation between them and stimulate changes in the economy.

During the week of the selection tour, 14 Ukrainian female founders of technological businesses took part in the sessions. According to the terms of the contest, after selection, 5 female finalists will participate in the program. During May, they will be taught the art of pitching and product presentation to investors by experienced experts from Silicon Valley. And already on June 18, they will represent their companies and Ukraine at the Global Showcase 2020 in front of representatives of investment funds, startup accelerators and innovative corporations from around the world. More than 1,000 investors are expected to participate in the event.

In addition, Ukrainian Hub plans to launch a business camp for female entrepreneurs in the fall of the Female Leadership Program.

"We started with programs for the development of "women's" technological businesses, since there are practically no organizations and accelerators with such a focus in Ukraine." - explains Olesya Malyovana, co-founder of the public organization.

The team also plans to launch a training program for startups at the initial stage (pre-seed and seed stage) together with one of the leading accelerators in the USA.
